Our team of instructors and coaches at Virginia International Gymnastics Schools are a terrific group of professionals dedicated to providing the most fun, exciting and rewarding gymnastics or cheerleading experience possible for your child! While safety is always our foremost priority, fun comes in a close second! You may accuse some of our staff of having as much fun as the students!

In order to help ensure the safety of our programs, each staff member must undergo training in various safety-related topics. Basic First Aid and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training, through the American Safety and Health Institute (AHSI) is required of each coach and instructor. Each staff member must also undergo VIGS Safety Certification through in-house seminars and testing. Our gymnastics competition team coaches are registered Professional Members as well as National Safety Certified with USA Gymnastics, our National Governing Body. In addition, continuing education is stressed through in-house seminars and clinics as well as State, Regional and National Congresses and seminars.

Jim and Mary Roe

Owners Jim and Mary Roe have over a half-a-century of combined gymnastics competition and coaching experience. Moreover, they have been a positive influence on thousands of children and competitive athletes in the Richmond metropolitan area, and beyond, for over thirty years! They are proud and privileged to have been a part of the lives of so many wonderful individuals and families.
